Who we are
Campqx is a camping gear checklist app. You plan trips, build stamp sheets, clear the Depart Gate rail, and may publish a completed stamp card to Plaza. There is no chat, private messaging, comments, or follow graph.
Data stored on your device
- Trips, gear lists / templates, stamp progress, and optional trip voice notes
- An anonymous author key and the display name you set
- Coin balance and honored in-app purchase transaction identifiers
- Optional avatar, stamp photos, and Plaza cover images you save
- Favorites, block records, and report markers for Plaza moderation
- Reminder preferences (master switch and per-trip times)
Community Plaza
When you Share Out a completed Gate card, a snapshot (trip tags, caption, stamp summary, packed highlights, optional cover) may be stored so others can browse Plaza. Published cards are not editable after publish; you may delete your own posts. Importing another camper’s packed list may spend coins and copies gear into your local Lists.
Permissions
- Photos / Camera — optional stamp photos, covers, and avatar
- Microphone — optional short voice notes on trips (recording only; no transcription service)
- Notifications — depart reminders (day before a trip’s depart date, when enabled)
Campqx does not use live location or weather services. Weather tags on trips and gear are manual labels you choose.
Purchases
Campqx Coins are consumable virtual currency sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details. We keep local records of honored transaction IDs so a purchase is credited once.
Analytics & tracking
Campqx does not require an advertising identifier to use core features. If Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt appears, you can decline and continue using the app.
Clearing data
Me → Clear All Data wipes local trips, gear, Plaza cache, favorites, blocks, and resets coins. Sample seed data will not return after a clear. Deleting the app also removes on-device storage.
Children
Campqx is not directed at children under 13. Do not use Plaza to share personal information about minors.
